Yard Maintenance

The ACC requires that all front yard areas be landscaped and maintained in a neat, orderly manner. Yard maintenance is the responsibility of the property owner and includes the maintenance of any and all front or side yards belonging to the owner’s property. It is advised that you trim “out of control” tree branches. Please note that overgrown and dry weeds, bushes, trees, grass and vegetation are unsightly and are Fire and safety hazards. Clotheslines in the front yard or next to the street are not allowed.

The City of Smyrna will pick up large appliances ( i.e. refrigerators, stoves, etc.) and furniture for a nominal disposal fee. The pick-up generally occurs on Fridays and must be scheduled by calling the sanitation department at 770-319-5385.

All item(s) must be placed at the curb on the day scheduled for collection and not be left days ahead of time since this makes the neighborhood look untidy.
