Before
you pick up that paint brush or order that new vinyl siding, we ask that you
contact the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) to get an approved
color chart.
”Why?” you may ask. Because it is important that we
adhere to Afton Downs color palettes and keep some from painting the body of
their homes neon green, fuchsia or other inappropriate colors. Our
neighborhoods visual style is built from colors, imagery, layout and design,
all of which help create a distinctive Afton Downs style. By employing the
approved color schemes, we create a uniformed community-look that helps

And, if you would like to paint your house, trim or fascia with a color that is
not approved by the board, give us a call or e-mail us and we will be glad to
work on a compromise with you. The ACC’s ultimate goal is for every home in
Afton Dows to have a clean and neat appearance while maintaining the integrity
of the neighborhoods style. This, we are certain, will keep our property values
on the rise.
